Age Connects North East Wales is working in partnership with Age Cymru to support their gift box appeal.

“Age Cymru is appealing to you to fill a wrapped shoe box with gifts in our aim to help make this Christmas a little brighter.”

Christmas can be a difficult time for a lot of people, including many older people who have no family or friends to visit during the Christmas holidays.  The gesture of a small gift from you can make a massive difference to their Christmas and put a smile on their face.

Boxes collected will be delivered to older people in care homes or those who receive a Friend in Need friendship call.

What to do:

• Find your shoe box and wrap it (lid separately) or a pre-printed box
• Fill it with your gifts (See link below for suggestions)
• Attach a label marking whether your gift is for a male, female or generic
• Please don’t include any personal information
• Close you box using a rubber band (please do not seal the box)
• Bring you box to our office Lewis House, Swan Street, Flint, CH6 5BP by Monday 5th December – the office will be open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday’s from 9:30am – 3:30pm
